JOHN 14:6
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”” (ASV)
In John 14:6 Jesus tenderly yet unequivocally says, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.” He leaves no room for the popular notion that every spiritual path leads to God, because the very heart of the gospel is not humanity climbing up to God but God lovingly descending to us in the person of His Son. World religions commonly prescribe ladders of merit—rites, rules, pilgrimages, karmic credits, indulgences—by which people must strive to earn divine acceptance. Jesus turns that pattern upside-down: the perfect, crucified and risen Lord bridges the gulf Himself, offering reconciliation as a gift. All He asks is that we admit our need (surrender), turn from our sin (repentance), and entrust ourselves to Him (faith). In that humble surrender we discover the exclusive claim of Christ is also the most inclusive invitation imaginable, welcoming anyone—no matter background or baggage—into the Father’s embrace through the one Way God has graciously provided.
Sharing Jesus: Jesus isn’t offering just another opinion—he’s inviting us into the one clear path to truly know God and experience a full, lasting kind of life. Rather than arguing about religion, let's talk about how meeting Jesus has provides direction (“the way”), honesty and clarity about what matters (“the truth”), and a deeper sense of purpose and hope (“the life”). Take a look at what Jesus said and did by reading the Bible. Do we need to work our way to God? If you look closely you will see that God, through Jesus, came to us. Jesus is the only way where we don't have to work our way to God. Through Jesus God came to us, and that is what makes Jesus's claims and Christianity different than any other religion!
