PSALM 40

“I waited patiently for Jehovah; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay; and He set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Jehovah." (ASV)

Psalm 40 is our theme Psalm. When we see what God has done in our lives and then read this Psalm in its entirety, it's a prophesy about us! Maybe it's a prophesy about you too? (Read Psalm 40)

Sharing Jesus: Has God lifted you out of the mud and the mire? Has He turned to you and heard your cry? We all go through stuff. Jesus Himself said that in this world we would have trouble, but that we should take heart, because He has overcome the world. Reading the Bible helped us develop a meaningful relationship with God through His son Jesus. Our lives now have meaning and purpose. We can find the wisdom in the Bible for dealing with everyday issues we face in this world, and because of this we want to share it with you! Think about it... if we were traveling through the desert and I knew where the water was, wouldn't you want and even expect me to tell you? That's what Psalm 40 is talking about. We know where the water is... and now... we must tell everyone who will listen!
